2012-2013 Schedule
I know there is no tentative schedule setup but I am just starting a thread so we can compile some resources etc about the modifications and what rumours people have heard so far.
I read a tweet a minute ago that the trade deadline is rumoured to be on the 5th of April but that isn't set in stone at the present. Does anyone know when the regular season would end given we fit in 48 games? I know before they mentioned the season would be prolonged and probably go longer, can anyone shed some light on that for me? Thanks a ton you guys!

I wonder if they are planning on keeping all games that were originally scheduled the same, and adding some more into what used to be off days OR if it is a brand new schedule with totally different dates.

This is all I could find , does not really answer your question 100% but... http://sports.nationalpost.com/2013/...heir-new-deal/ • The season will run either 48 games or 50 games and will be kept entirely within the conference. Under the 48-game scenario, teams play everyone outside their division three times and an unbalanced schedule internally, with five games against two rivals and four games against two others. The 50-game scenario is more straightforward with five games versus divisional opponents and three more against everyone else in the conference. • For the shortened 2012-13 NHL season, an April 5 trade deadline and July 5 start to free agency have been proposed. The sides have yet to formally sign off on that yet.
