Default Draft Advice

14 team Salary Cap Keeper League - Based on last year’s salary. Start 2 Goaliies, 4 Defense 12 Forwards with 3 bench
F/D CATs: +/- (.5), G,A,PPG(2),PPA, GWG,SHG, PIM (.2)
Goal CATs: W(3), SO(5),SOL(1),OTL(1)
8 Keepers: 7 forwards - Backstrom, Crosby, Eberle, Eriiksson, B Schenn, Skinner, Tavares
1 Goalie – Schneider
I’m in good shape cap wise and start the draft with picks 2, 16 and 19.
Available players I am considering are:
Goal: Lindback, Lehtonen and Dubnyk – low cap hits are a bonus here.
Others Available: Luongo, Kiprusoff, Hiller, Backstrom, Varlamov
Forward: Thorton, Wheeler, Voracek, Pominville, Lupul, Koivu, van Riemsdyk (low cap), Horton
Rookies: Huberdeau, Yakupov, Silfverberg, Granlund
Defense: really only a debate between Carlson & Schultz - both low cap hits and value picks.
Goalies are scarce and I would need to have one for sure within my top 3 picks.
Any thoughts would be great.

Here's to a sprint to the finish

Granlund is my personal favourite to win the Calder so I'd push to find a way to get him with his low cap/high upside.

In goal I'd definitely try to get Lehtonen. Also like Varlamov as he seems undervalued.

I'd go after Koivu with one of your later two picks. Very steady so far and his situation looks excellent - playing between Parise and Heatley should do. You have yourself an underestimated proven #1 C.
