Well, 4am start time. I will miss it unfortunately. How does this thing shake out? Predictions? Who's gonna be the man?

PP will tell the story, middle of the ice will be crazy, and the studs will be grunting through every shift. Thinking both goalies are in the zone for this one, so it will come down to a one goal game, knocked in by someone destined to score. Going to go with a big show from RNH, whether it is the first goal, tieing goal or winning goal, it will be the turning point.

I don't think it's going to be a tight one. My canadian bias tells me that Canada will win by atleast 3. They have been better in the last 2 games (USA,Russia) and I believe that they finally got it together and they will steamroll the states tonight.

Yet again, I am very bias.

USA cannot win the game, but Canada can certainly lose it. If we play a disciplined, smart game, we'll win easily by 3 goals like you said. If we let it get emotional we might let it slip through our fingers.

I think there is a very good chance it gets emotional for at least one period of the game. Hopefully the boys can keep it together during those stretches of play.

NB: strong Canadian bias...

The game starts for me at 10pm. Not too bad. I do have work on the morning, but that isn't too late. Hopefully I dont invest the time, then it goes into overtime. I'd like to see CAN win in the 60 minutes.

I think this game will come down to who has the better special teams play. If it doesn't I think that Nugent-Hopkins is just too good at this level and will be too much for USA.

Subban has played great the last couple games, it wouldn't shock me if he doesn't play a great game. Gibson on the other hand I expect to have a good game, and will have to if his team wants to win.

Not going to predict a score, but going with a Canadian win.

John Gibson terrifies me but this Canadian team is really dominant. I'm not concerned beyond Gibson.

Im contemplating whether I want to just wake up at 4am and watch it. If I fell asleep now it wouldn't be too bad....but I know that won't happen.

Might try to hold out and not find out who won and watch it at work at noon.
