Team in sig
going after H.Sedin and the gm gave me a price Kulemin Fisher 2013: SJ 1st round (with a lottery this could be anywhere but this team only has 2 balls in the lottery, good team so most likely late) 2014: PIT 1st round. Young team with lots of potential, was 7th overal in 2012 and in 2014 should be a playoff team (13-20) for H.Sedin My team is contending so this is probably good he said hes checking his other offers and if none beat this he will accept, told me 3 days at most thanks in advance

In your shoes, I do it.
Your team defiantly looks like a win now type of team, and being in a 20 team league, I'm sure you're a favourite to win. Sedin is an elite fantasy point producer, and I feel like you would be getting him at a nice price. If you think you can win, I would say that you have to pull the trigger. |

Too much for H.Sedin in a deep 20 team dynasty league.
He's only an upgrade over Fisher in assists and PPP. You don't have anyone on your farm to replace Kulemin on your roster and you already have some useless guys sitting on your bench (Arnott, Malhotra and Huselius). Your farm team is also seriously lacking talent which you'll get with those 1st round picks. I just don't see Sedin being enough of an upgrade over Fisher and Kulemin to be worth all this. Actually I do think your team is better with keeping Fisher and Kulemin and having better depth. Depth wins championships in deep dynasty leagues.

I'd make the deal and make another trade to try and shore up the depth. You dont pass on a sure fire producer like H. Sedin when all you're giving up is a little depth and draft picks.

Agreed. Not only that, he has a TON of picks, so it's minimal loss.

I don't think so. Losing picks sucks, especially when they are high picks, but they don't help you win in the immediate, and he has a team that can win right now.
Moving Fisher and Kulemin in a 20 team league does hurt depth, but for an elite player it's a move well worth making. If worst comes to worst, he still has Sedin who he can trade for what I believe to be better value, or he could move someone else on his roster to fix the depth issue, that losing Kulemin will entail. |
