Smid + for Lindholm/Larsen - Multi Cat League

30 team dynasty league where you keep players until they become a UFA in the NHL. We use Cap hit along with the NHL salary cap and salary floor. We dress 18 skaters per day. My team is listed below. League uses the following stats for skaters:

G, A, +/-, Hits, Takeaways, Blocked Shots, PP TOI (team rank), PK TOI (team rank)

Should I make this deal (if so, which 2 of the potential adds should I take):

Receive Ladislav Smid + 2 of (Drayson Bowman, Zach Budish, Chris Wideman, Stephen Johns, 2013 2nd round draft pick)
Give up Hampus Lindholm + Philip Larsen

Absolutely not. Lindholm will be the best player in the deal. He's the guy you wanna target / own. Smid will give you some value right now, but Lindholm will give you loads of value down the road. If you cant wait on him, I would certainly do so.

I defiantly wouldn't trade Hampus Lindholm for a deal centered around Smid. Wouldn't trade Lindholm for Smid straight up, heck I wouldn't give him up for the proposed deal minus Larsen.

Hold on to Lindholm.

Smid for a recent top-10 pick with great upside? That's laughable. Even in a deep league like you can find those hits and blocked shots from the waiver wire. And the offer is even worse since you can keep players only until they become UFA's in NHL and Smid will be UFA next summer. If there's no season, you'll lose him without getting any games from him.

There's nothing in this deal for you. I wouldn't even move Larsen alone for that package.

I ended up moving Larsen and Da Costa for Johnny Boychuk as I needed to make a move to get over the salary floor.
