Moving Pietrangelo for another youngster

Pondering moving Pietrangelo in a 1 for 1 deal.
I'm in a salary cap league, and Pietrangelo is at $1, so it has to be another $1 player.

Quality players at $1 include (in order of how I value them):

Seguin
Eberle
Benn
Nugent-Hopkins
Hall
Landeskog
Couture
Skinner
E. Kane
Duchene
B. Schenn

Basically looking for your opinion on which players you view as a good return, and which (if any), I couldn't get with Pietrangelo.

Based on your scoring system I'd be looking at Evander Kane, Landeskog and maybe Hall or Seguin. Everyone else is either too one-dimensional for a multi-cat league like yours or is too unproven to be worth Pietrangelo.

I like your ordered list.
I'd probably start with these three guys as DEFINITELY (my opinion) better than AP. I'm assuming a 4C/4LW/4RW/6D roster allocation.

There are a bunch of other guys on the list who have value similar to AP, IMO, but I'd take any of these three in a heartbeat for AP.

I like the four bolded names as gets above what AP is valued in my book. The even or close to players I see are Landeskog and Kane with your format. See if you can make it happen!

Agree here 100%. I do however think you can get a little more for AP than Lando and Kane. I'd shoot for the big boys first in that list and see where it gets you.

To look at it from a different perspective, rather than just focusing on which players you should go after, perhaps it's better to look at teams that have a greater need on D, have a surplus of forwards (from your list), and then you can narrow down a potential trading partner. Value also depends on the manager and his/her needs so context is important as well.

I don't think there is - it's simply a matter of doing a good job of your signature. It may not seem of consequence to some but frequently it means the difference between getting an in depth analysis or just an opinion.
