Merry Christmas & Happy New Year Dobber Family
Hey Everyone,
It's a couple days early, but just wanted to take a moment and wish EVERYONE a safe Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!! For me, It's been a whirlwind of a year. Probably the toughest year for me by far in my adult life. I am happy to of made it through some tough times and continue to press forward making progress each and every day. Those of you out there in dobberland that have had tough times this year, be it with family, friends, health or professional challenges, keep pressing forward. If you've made mistakes this year, learn from them....I have. Be thankful for everything you have, health, family, friends, income and such. Life can change in a moments notice, so live each day strong, with a full throttle mentality. A new year is fast approaching, reflect on good times and also those challenges you've faced, seek out changes you feel you need / should make to better yourself and the people around you. The dobber community here is a special place most of us hang our hat at each day and share thoughts on hockey and all sports, but it's those relationships and interactions with each other that make this place a GREAT place to come to every day. In good times and in tough times I am truly grateful to all of you ( both in good times and in recent down times) I wish everyone good health, happiness, and success as we roll into 2013! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Everybody!!

Glad to see you back in the fold. The #1 thing (I learned the hard way) is to take care of yourself first and foremost. If you don't then everything else crumbles. So no matter what your health and well-being needs to be #1 priority.

I'll echo the sentiments of those who've posted ahead of me. That was a great post Brandon. I'll add that I hope for not only Brandon, but for every single member of these forums, that the coming year will be the very best they've ever had. May good luck, health, and fortune shine brightly upon each of us, and may we finally see some progress out from the darkness we have witnessed both personally and from afar.

I hope 2013 brings you the best of everything Shakedown.
Happy holidays to everyone. On another note, does anyone else think throwing Bettman and Fehr togehter into the Octagon for 30 minutes might make up for missing half a season and counting?
