My team is in my signature.
I would give Alex Galchenyuk Brandon Saad for Jonathan Huberdeau Slava Voynov I am hesistant to move Galchenyuk because I feel he might be the best player in the deal. What do you guys think? Would you do this trade? Thanks for your opinions!

I think I'd rather have Huberdeau than Galchenyuk.
I'd take the deal. The two guys you're getting are a bit further ahead in development as well, so that's an added bonus.

Looking at the players, you have to take into consideration the prospect status of everyone. Voynov isn't far from losing his prospect status in your league. Right now, you start 3 D and you roster 4 with Elliot taking a spot on your big club.
If you make this deal, you will probably want to swap Elliot with Voynov and place Elliot back in your minor system. That's not a bad thing but certainly something to consider as part of this deal. Personally, I would make this deal. Voynov is further ahead in his development then Saad and isn't a bad insurance policy to own should Green go down again with another injury. Huberdeau is not a step down from Galchenyuk. If anything he could be a better NHL'r. Time will tell on that front. I pretty much consider them equal.

I agree. You have a better idea what you're getting with Huberdeau and Voynov than Galchenyuk and Saad. And to me Huberdeau is the best in the deal, so make the swap.

I would favor the Galchenyuk side . He's an absolute dedicated workhorse with tons of skill . I think Huberdeau is overrated . Just my opinion .

Quote:
I had a chance to take Galchenyuk in our Legacy draft, and I didn't. I took Huberdeau. Yes, I have since dealt Huberdeau in a package to acquire E. Staal...however, if I had to do it over again, I'd take Huberdeau ahead of Galchenyuk again. Dobber's top 215 rankings has Huberdeau ahead of Galchenyuk. For the sake of doing so, I checked three other reliable(for the most part) sources, and everyone of them has Huberdeau listed ahead of Galchenyuk in their rankings. The two could go on to have similar type careers, thats for sure. Galchenyuk playing fantastic but he was just drafted 6 months ago. Huberdeau is NHL ready now. Also Huberdeau is playing for an up and coming Florida Panthers squad with a ton of talent at every position and some decent veterans in place. Huberdeau projects to be the leading scorer, a permanent top powerplay fixture and bonafide number one center. Gally should be a high end player as well, I just think he might take a little longer to get there, and might not be as consistent as Huberdeau will be. I'd make the trade, unless you're like me and you don't like having the same players in different leagues!!

This is cake. Take the deal because Hubs is THE best player here. Afterward, do what Axe suggested - move Elliott to the farm and Voynov to your active roster.

I'd go with the Huberdeau side here. At this point, I put Hub and Gal as two fairly close players. It's Voynov, who's producing at the NHL level that gives that side of the deal the edge for me.

Huberdeau side as well. It improves you dramatically for this year (assuming hockey happens) with little downside for the future.
