I have never heard of them but I will take your word for it.
I can just imagine.... Lannister will be a blonde beer.. Targaryen a red ale maybe. Starks will be dark.... What a great idea.

These beers are in good hands with Ommegang. I'd highly recommend grabbing some of their others just so you can get a taste for what these guys can do. First one up in the series is Iron Throne Blonde Ale. Here's a link to a news release from Ommegang about the collaboration....

Doesn't look like they ship to California. Just checked their website and nothing is available out here. Makes me wonder if that beer will make it out here now.

I'll second Ommegang as a top notch brewery. Normally I'd look at something like this as a cheesy marketing tie-in but I'm actually excited for this. Hoping I won't have to travel upstate to find a case though.
