Now that Bettman and Fehr have been let back into the negotiations, I am certain that talks will collapse. Time for them both to go.

I can see the Westin they're meeting in from my desk... my attempts to telepathically will them to an agreement have failed so far. Not sure if its a matter of distance, ability, or this emerging aneurysm in my frontal lobe from concentrating so hard.

Dare I say it.....I think we had seen a good idea by Gary Bettman. And It reaffirms my position that Donald Fehr is just as bad, if not worse than Bettman.
Bettman realizes that talks are going nowhere (or whatever the reason is), and suggests that He and Fehr take a break. They leave the room. Talks progress. Optimism renewed. Fehr insists he comes back into the room, (presumably so does Gary) Tempers raise. Progress (seemingly) halts. So if Fehr saw that progress was made WITHOUT him, why would he want back in? Little bit of a narcissist, perhaps?

Shocker. PA puts forward offer. Bettman refuses to look at or read offer. Is offended by the very nature of said offer he never looks at. Calls press conference to tell the world how disgusted he is with the terrible offer he never bothered to read.

These have just been negotiations on the main topics of the CBA which Daly relayed to Bettman today so he knew full well what was offered. BUT the first thing you should know is that the last offer from the NHL wasn't to be negotiated off of anyway. It was a yes or no answer the NHL was looking for and the PA came back with a proposal. The PA further went on to say they were close to an agreement and fully agreed on the dollars of the deal while ignoring to tell everyone that it was contingent on other details that they did not want to comply to. So of course Bettman and Daly should be allowed to refute the false statements that Fehr presented to everyone.
