What position is the streakiest?
Not many topics to choose from in here other than doom and gloom so I figured I'd post a random thought/question.
Which position is the streakiest for pts? I would guess W followed by D? Anyone have any research or thoughts on the matter? I know it's mostly attributed to specific players when we talk about hot/cold types, but is there a position you find is the hardest to bank on?

I think they are all streaky. If I had to name one, it would be defense though. Totally subjective though.

Yea, I'd GUESS D as well. Nothing to back it up, but as a positional group that would be my opinion..followed by goalies as most are a product of the team in front of them. Again talking as a positional group.

D, because that seems to be the position that I get burned on the most. I'll draft what on paper looks like a great group, only to have more than half of them tank. Not all the time, but certainly more than other positions.

I'd say the hooker (rugby) is most likely to go streaky... just because the name is suggestive.
That being said, I might be inclined to guess wingers... particularly 3rd line types who might see additional PP time if they are rolling. D-men don't generally get bumped up to ride a hot-streak as much.

I'll go with goalies. So much of their success depends on the players around them. It's not unusual for goalies to go on 8-game winning or losing streaks.

Goalies by a mile, man. 90% of goalie is focus and anticipation. Both of those things are clearly mental.

I think banking on young guys is the hardest to predict. You have no clue to what they will do night in and night out. Every game you get something different from them. There is no consistency with these guys.
