Oh yeah, we will all be back. I think thats what the article was getting accross.
We know we are not going to ignore the NHL...but lets let them know for one night what we thought. It would be all over the news and it would be the only real media that pulled the fans into the mix. Thats the idea I like....I don't think its that big of a stretch if it caught momentum....

At least boycott the first period of every home opener.
Ticket holders can still come later and or just drink beer at the concessions. As long as the seats are empty so the players and management can feel a little embarressed playing in front of an empty building. The bulk of these games would be televised and the impact on the TV at home and the following newsfeeds would be something not can't be ignored by the league.
