What players are you looking forward to seeing at the tourney this year?
The obvious: Ryan Strome, Seth Jones, the Nuge (if sent). How about some sleepers?

Ohhh I have lots (assuming they make the cut), mostly overseas players.
Valery Nickushkin, and Pavel Buchnevich come to mind right away I want to see what Lehkonen is all about and Andre Burakowsky. On defence, Hagg and Ristolainen. From the US; I have never, ever, seen De La Rose actually play so I'm looking forward to see if he can make the team too. |

I'm excited to see all of these young players. I haven't made any effort at all to watch any of these guys except for one game from that Russia/Canada thing during the summer. Gonna be sweet to watch!

I'll state the obvious as a homer and say Scheifele. I don't get to see his development near enough, but the few times I have seen him he's looked great. Plus, he played with an incredible edge in the summer against Russia, and I hope he brings that same sandpaper along with him to the World Juniors.
Not really a sleeper, but that's my pick. |
