My fantasy league just had their draft a few weeks ago, and now with these "optimistic" talks, I've been really looking more into this season.
Some good feedback is always welcome, curious as to see what the strengths and weaknesses of my team are! How many teams? At first glance it appears a little weakness at the center and defense positions. I like your wingers.

Weaknesses:
1) You have a significant injury risk or a need for a player to break out at every position. LW: JvR, Wilson C: Roy, Turris RW: Hemsky, Hodgson D: Elliot, Carlson, OEL G: Varlamov 2) Eberle's shooting percentage puts him at high risk of regressing. O'Reilly has also been mentioned as a possible regressing player. 3) Lack of proven scoring D. Carlson, Fowler, OEL, Johnson, Elliot.. none of these guys are proven 50pt PPQBs yet. Of course OEL is a huge favorite to break out this year, and Carlson too. Fowler will be a drag if his +/- continues to suffer. 4) Lack of high end scoring stars. Zetterberg, Toews, Kane. The rest of your players are questionable to hit 60. In a 12 team league, there should be one or two more "stars" on your team.

agree we need to look at your league size. must be a 14 or 16 teamer?
you have basically 5 studs - Lundqvist, Toews, Kane, Eberle, Zetterberg addendum: on looking at your signature and similar roster listed there, for a 12 teamer maybe a little weak. You need a bunch of younger players (JVR, O'Reilly, Turris, Little, Carlson, OEL, etc) to pan out

Not sure about this team. is your league really a 12 man? If so I'm a bit confused who your 6th, 7th and even 8th picks are here.
Lundy, Toews, Kane, Eberle, and Zberg make sense 1-5 but i see lots of sleeper D and not much depth at forward either. I'm afraid you may have had a poor draft. sorry. |

I see you as a 4th- 8th place team for a 12 team league. Lots of good parts for sure. Just no big game breakers IMO. Good luck though bro. This is still a very decent team
