Default Bergeron or Krejci?

Which Boston centreman would you choose in a points only keeper league?

Krejci for me. I know Bergeron has been relatively healthy but his previous injury history still comes into play in this decision for me. If it were a multi cat league I would be taking Bergeron though.

I dunno tough call...

I'm leaning more towards Krejci only because he's had a bit more upside. 73, 52, 62 and 62 during the last 4 seasons. Bergeron in the same span has posted 39, 52, 57 and 64, but both are very similar in terms of point production.

TOI wise it's very similar as well with:

Bergeron: 18:34, 17:52, 18:54, 17:59
Krejci: 18:25, 18:51, 18:14, 16:51 (Marc Savard was healthy)

So there's isn't really very many distinguishing factors between the two. Points-only, you could probably assume that both are going to be around 5 definitely 10 points of each other as long as both are healthy...

One interesting thing is that Krecji and Hemsky have been lighting up the Czech league on the same line. If I were Peter Chiarelli, I'd definitely send a few feelers out there to see what it would cost to see if they can land Hemsky...

Maybe something like Hemsky + Paajarvi + Gagner + Musil and a 2nd for Hamilton, Marchand, Spooner and a 1st might work...

My pick would be Bergeron because he's the overall better player (in terms of all around play) and will thus never be at risk of losing a top 2 center spot. Krejci on the other hand may face an issue if/when Seguin slides over and starts playing center (the same way Giroux did just that)

That's how I see it

I doubt they use Krejci as a 3rd line C, he would be ineffective. Probably would trade him first.

Points only I'd pick Krejci because I think they use Bergeron in a lot more short handed or defensive zone situations with tougher opposing players.

If they count FOW Bergeron is ahead by a mile.
