3. The leafs WIN 3-2 in overtime over the Habs on a powerplay goal from Phaneuf. Colby Armstrong was in the box at the time of the goal.
4. Ottawa wins 4-2 over the Capitals with an empty netter by Alfredsson in the dying seconds. Ove with his first goal of the season on the powerplay. Carlson with two assists. Holtby in nets for the Caps. Anderson faces 33 shots for the win.
5. Boston walks into NJ and eeks out a 3-2 win. Lucic with the winner. Rask only faces 23 shots.
6. In an upset, the Islanders beat Philly 5-3 on home ice. JT with a goal and an assist. Moulson with 3 assists. Briere with 2 goals for Philly, Giroux held off the scoresheet. Bryz in nets for all 5 goals. Leaves arena with Humongous Big headache.
7. Stamkos with 4 points in a route over FLA, 6-1. Stammer with 2 G, 2A, MSL with 2 assists. Lindback with 1st win of the season with an easy 24 save performance. Kulikov with the panther's lone goal in the 3rd on a late powerplay breaking Lindback's shutout. Only 9200 people witness the loss.
8. Rinne with 38 saves in a tight 2-1 win over the Blues on home ice. Weber and Ellis each with one goal. Tarasenko with a beauty in the 2nd assisted by Berglund and Pietrangelo. Halak with 23 saves in the loss. Carrie Underwood applauds the victory, promising to take all players out for ice cream at 31 flavours after the game...
9. Colorado walks into Minny and pulls out a 4-3 win on Lando's game winning goal with 1 min 23 seconds to go. He falls to his knees in dire celebration. Parise and Suter each with 1 assist. Spotted leaving the arena together.. Varly is sharp in the win posting 31 saves....
10. CHI pumps in 4 goals in the first onto a 7-2 romp over CLB. Toews with the hat-trick. Atkinson impresses with 2 goals for the jackets. Hossa is impressive in CHI win, Leddy with 2 assists.
11. Smith is great in nets for the Yotes in a 3-1 win over the Stars. Eriksson tallies the lone goal for the Stars. OEL and Yandle one assist each. OEL logs 31 minutes for the Yotes. Only 11, 234 people are there to see it...

Luo rides the bench but leaves mid-way through the 3rd claiming "I had a sick stomach.."

Man, I remember the good old days when a visit from the Oilers was 'guaranteed win night'... now I guess that mantle falls to the Flames.


As for Luongo's sick stomach... is that why he keeps falling on it during games?

You forgot to mention the obligatory Crosby concussion that sidelines him for half this season.
