Default goalie rank for rep.

i have too many quality goaltenders.terible problem i know.
ive had some offers but am wondering your rankings.
rank by how much you think id recieve in a trade vs who i need to keep.or something like that.
we count gaa, s%, wins, S.O., saves.--- with a max of 164 games played.

im thinking:

lundy-- as a rangers fan, id need more than anyone would probably offer
rask--- ive owned for so long and the payoff is finally here
price--- the next lundy imo, but may be a few years away as habs get better
ward---team got better and gets tons of saves.
smith--- would be up but i think some managers are not sold on him yet
enroth--- as long as miller is healthy, hes not doing much
montoya-- havent given up on yet

That would be my exact ranking too for how people in your league would probably value them.

Lundvist - Best option/goalie in the league
Rask - Everyone is on the hype train right now
Price - Valued for his future potential, plus is a workhorse
Ward - Down year but many still believe including myself. He is a workhorse so has great value.
Smith - A lot of people still don't believe in him..but he's an established starter nonetheless
Enroth - A long-term injury to Miller away from being a starter
Montoya - Gonna try to prove himself this year but don't think he'll get too much opportunity with Pavelec in front of him.

I'd dangle some goalies out there to see what you can get. I think Rask or Price will get you the best return for what you're sending out personally, but you won't know until you throw out some feelers.

I think Rask might be the guy to trade. He's the new kid on the block when it comes to starting goalies but has not proven his durability yet. Meanwhile, Price/Lundqvist/Ward have proven they can play 70 games. I'm just thinking about a scenario that gets you to cover your 164 games efficiently while also giving you good trade value to help elsewhere.

I agree with the ranking and a lot of Bondon's sentiments. I believe Rask is your best shopping alternative, Kev.

I like your rankings, KR. The clear locks for me are Lundy and Price, and my first choice to trade would be Rask, if you can get good value for him. Ward next if you really want to move someone and want a very solid player in return, but it would be real hard to lose Ward. He's such a stud, and if the team around him ever rounds into form, look out.

Keeping Rask over Ward would be a bit of a gamble, but I think Rask will do fine, and you've got an amazing duo for both now and the future in Lundy and Price.

At any rate, I think you're right in trying to move one of these guys to shore up another position, and you should get a great return on one of these goalies.

I would rank them as:

lundy - Top 2 goalie in NHL
rask - Chance to be Top 5 this tear
ward - Breakout year for him
smith - Cant argue the system he is in
price - Dont like the team he is on, will struggle because of it
enroth - Career Back up
montoya - Career Back up

Regarding the last two guys, I see it as follows:

Enroth - career backup. He is talented but I don't think he has the overall game to be a #1, nor will he ever get the chance because of his size.

Montoya - backup for now, but I doubt he can stick in the NHL long-term.

I like it, though I'd go Ward, then Price.

I don't know... there's something about a Montreal goaltender that is about to get hung out to dry on a bad team... it's like deja vu or something.
