    Hey-yo,

Any MTL homers out there able to tell me how he's looking the last couple weeks?

He's starting to garner both chemistry with Gally and better linemates in general. PP time isn't there...yet.

I'd been shopping him but am starting to wonder. What's his future like with the habs?

I think he'll always be a third line centre, with the ability to play second line minutes if needed on a short-time basis.

I mentioned this in another thread a few weeks back, but the thing with Eller is that he doesn't do anything exceptional. He's not a goal scorer, a play maker, a hard hitter or shutdown guy. He's not a strong faceoff player, especially speedy, extra gritty or a fighter. He does some things well, but nothing that makes him stand out.

If you're asking for the homers to come out then your answers will tell you he is a future star.

I think he is a #3 centerman for the time being but he does well in his limited minutes. He could rise to #2 one day but that is beyond the scope of what you should be evaluating in fantasy hockey.

I would put his ceiling at 40-45 points for the time being with the possibility of much less.

Sounds like a 2nd line centre to me. He's outplaying Desharnais who passes well but is a liability in most other areas. Unfortunately for Eller, he is in a bad situation. Desharnais is french, plekanec signed long term. Galchenyuk (who is playing left wing now) is a future #1 or #2(at worst) centre.
