Not sure how you guys can be so heavily in favor of Tarasenko here...
You have a guy who had a hot first 2 games and has been "ok" since then but has yet to record another multipoint game.
Then you have a guy who's further along in his development, is on a shitty team where he'll have better opportunities to shine AND happens to be #8 in the league in scoring!
Give your heads a shake.
Rather have Kadri too. Tarasenko is not as skilled offensively.
Tarasenko is better than Kadri offensively and that's not debatable to me. Kadri's current season scoring rate is unsustainable while Tarasenko will only trend upward.
This is not about a system. Tarasenko is the better player period.

Can you explain why you think so to me?
I'm a Leafs fan so clearly I'm going to have some bias, but it's pretty hard to argue with a 22 year old who is currently 8th overall in scoring. And he's done that with 2nd and 3rd line time and linemates (until Lupul)

I dunno I think it's pretty close as far as talent is concerned and it is true kadri is on a tear right now so it inflates his value, but for me it comes down to kadri is going to be one of the go to guys for leafs in near future, whereas tarasenko is stuck behind quite a lot of depth. I guess it depends a bit if stewart is resigned.
Now what?
Everyone is entitled to their opinion, I am actually a huge fan of Kadri but I refuse to own Leafs on my roster. It's a personal choice and soon you will find out why
