I wouldn't make any of those moves.
considering dropping Reimer for Fasth.
alternatively could drop Marchand, activate Pacioretty, stash Halak on the IR and then pick up Fasth.

He can't do that - based on what he wrote it seems like Patches is on the I/R spot right now, which is why he would have to drop someone to activate Patches in the first place.
I kind of like move 1 - dropping Reimer for Fasth - but I'd wait one more start from each. I think Fasth takes over the starting goaltending position for a very good Anaheim team. I think Reimer has a decent shot at becoming the #1 for the Leafs but the Leafs are mediocre.

i guess i'm sort of anticipating Simmonds going on IR very soon.
You are better off staying put, and if and when Simmonds goes on IR, then you get pick up Fasth, if he's still available and if you still want him, but he's not worth dropping either Marchand or even Reimer at this time.
Simmonds is skating today, so looks like he isn't going to see IR.
i've activated Pacioretty and put Halak on IR.
eventually Halak is going to come back, so i need to drop *somebody* eventually.
my team is currently in first and the only skater who is even mediocre right now is Marchand.
with Howard struggling mightily and Halak injured, i think Goaltending is a major priority and i feel nervous about staying put.

I would probably say yes to this.
Boston actually switched up their lines in the 3rd period last night and generated some offense.
Seguin was lining up on the RW of Lucic-Krejci.
Boost for those two players.
The 2nd line was:
G.Campbell-Bergeron-Horton.
What this probaby means is that when Marchand comes back it will be:
Lucic-Krejci-Seguin
Marchand-Bergeron-Horton
Back to the point.
I would drop Reimer and add Fasth.
