Default Help pick my week 12 WR's

I have a whole mess of inconsistent, should be better WR's and I could really use a win this week to solidify my playoff hopes. I need to dress 3.

I've ranked them how I generally see it - meaning the top 3 are my tentative choices, please let me know what you think:

    Nicks @ GB
    Smith @ Phi
TY Hilton @ Buf (assuming Avery sits)
    Fitzgerald @ Stl
    Lloyd @ NYJ
    Floyd @ Bal

    Thanks!

Is Fitz really a good play here? There's no questioning his talent, but coming off the 1 catch performance last week, and with Ryan "gonna get sacked 17 times" Lindley at QB I'm really questioning where his value is at..

He's been an incredibly frustrating guy to own...

    1) Nicks - says he feels healthy, so i expect Eli to get him involved. Naturally, NYG will have to pass because GB will eat up that sorry NYG secondary.

    2) Fitzgerald. However, if Avery is out for the Colts, i'd rather roll Hilton because Indy/Buf will be a shootout and Luck throws a ton.

    3) Steve Smith - Eagles have 23rd ranked pass D.

I disagree about playing your studs, at this time of the year when you need to push to make the playoffs. Fitzgerald is not one of your studs this year based on his performance so far, neither is Nicks for that matter but he has a much better chance of going off for a big game than Fitz does.

I like your ranking: Nicks, Smith, Hilton. Even if Avery plays I would roll the dice with Hilton.

I agree about studs and Fitz not being one right now. I like a lot of what you have said. The only small point i disagree with you on is with starting Hilton even if Avery suits up. The same scenario played out recently and Hilton had a monster game in Avery's absence. When Avery played the following week, Hilton took a back seat. It's been this way all year. Hilton's value is ttied to Avery's health.

Appreciate the feedback. I think the general consensus is keep an eye on Avery.. if he sits I'll probably go with Hilton, if he's expected to play I'll roll with Fitz.

    Cheers
