Default Need some help pulling off a win this week.

Hey guys, final week for the team in my sig - Khudobin just blew every chance I had at snagging a goalie cat. (didnt help I had Rask playing and Johnson sitting).....

I am on top in this matchup view.

I dropped Khudobin and Johnson and picked up Versteeg/Shaw since they play the next 2 days, I think they were the best options available with B2B's tonight/tomorrow.

    Here is his team:
    C: Bergeron, Ribeiro, Perreault, Nyquist
    LW: JVR, Dubinsky, Sharp
    RW: Simmonds, Neil, Seguin
    D: Campbell, Giordano, Wiz, Keith
    G: Varlamov, Lundqvist, Lehtonen

So with Kane,Oshie(IR),Franzen,Palat I would get 2GP over the weekend, I need to drop them.
If I pick up 4 of the players below (2D, 1C, 1W) I will get 7GP over the weekend (+5) (Due to openings in roster).
Now the hard part, who to pick up:

    W:
    Vrbata vs DAL/SJ
    MacArthur vs TOR/PIT
    J.Jokinen vs PHI/OTT (C Eligibility)
    R.Smith vs BUF/NJ

    C:
    Bonino vs LA/COL
    Smith vs CHI/MIN
    Fisher vs CHI/MIN
    Doan vs DAL/SJ

    D:
    Bieksa vs CGY/EDM
    Hamhuis vs CGY/EDM
    Maata vs PHI/OTT
    Josi vs CHI/MIN
    Fowler vs LA/COL
    Wiercoch vs TOR/PIT

If you guys notice anything I missed please let me know!
If there is anyone else flying under the radar who plays B2B Sat/Sun I will do anything to hang onto this lead and repeat!

Will +1 you all and love you long time!

It's 12 cats, with SO likely a tie.
    That means you need 6/11.

I would keep hammering on the categories you are winning, forget the rest.
AND, of note!, those are the cats I target in multi-cat, go with Shoot-First Grit-Guys.

Do you own the tie-breaker if he gets a shut-out?

I like Vrbata, Bieksa, and Doan... in that order.

Unfortunately he gets the tie-breaker, he hammered me twice this year!
I need another D if I grab the PHO guys and Bieksa!
He is definitely going to win +/- so I guess just hoping he doesnt get the shut out!

My other concern is PIM - he has Neil,Simmons,Dubinsky and I really dont have anyone!
Do I try and grab someone who will drop the gloves on the weekend? Zack Smith vs TOR/PIT fills my D spot?

Zack Smith is a pretty good choice... especially with bouts vs. TOR & PIT.
Zac Rinaldo might be a good add as well.
Bieksa himself could scrap as CGY & VAN have a history.

Added Smith, Rinaldo is suspended still!
Gonna try and find a D for this B2B that can help me win!

I would guess on Matt Carkner (NYI) vs. John Scott (BUF) on Sunday.
The two squared off mid-March, wasn't much of a fight.

    That games was @ NYI.
    Sunday is @ BUF.

There can often be rematches when two teams flip locations & the business is "unsettled".
If you really need PIM, those are two guys I'd consider for last day of NHL hockey.

    Thanks Pengwin, good call!

My only dilemma now is do I wait until the last day to pick up 1 player for Sunday OR do I grab a D now and slot him in SAT/SUN and hope for the best?
Carkner would be good for Sunday too bad he doesnt play SAT as well! My fingers are crossed that Neil doesnt scrap dont know how lucky I will be though!

He benched Lehtonen so I am still in this!
I have 24 guys playing this weekend and he has 20, going to be close!
I have no more moves left this week and lines are set- nothing I can do at this point!
Here is where we are at after tonight (I still have Burns playing, no one else still on the ice).

I took Smith hoping for some PIM but he didnt end up doing much.

He added Carkner, Doan, Ott, Zidlicky and Green tonight so tomorrow will be a packed day.

ME: Smith, Neal, Palat, Giroux, Perry, Vrbata, Martin, Ovechkin, Weber, Bieksa, Hamhuis (Rask/Howard)
    vs
HIM: Bergeron, Ribeiro, Ott, Doan, Simmonds, Neil, Seguin, Nyquist, Giordano, Green, Zidlicky, Carkner, Perreault (Varlamov/Lehtonen)
