Perry an upgrade?
Hey guys,
Would we consider Corey Perry a significant upgrade over Blake Wheeler in a keeper, Points only?
I have an opportunity to trade my Wheeler plus Bobby Butler and a 2nd pick (Acquired Butler a year ago in 2nd round, just for reference) for Perry.
The reason i think about this is because Wheeler's point totals are trending up, and Perry is basically tied for points with Wheels at this point in the season, with a few less games played.
I get that Perry is the best player in the deal, but is it enough to warranty a guy like Butler, who may or may not get a look at top 6 minutes in Nashville?

I would do that deal and like the other poster I am a fan of Wheeler, as you can see he's on my roster
Even in a points only league I would rather have Perry.

This partially depends on number of teams, number of keepers, number of starters at each position, and bench size, but I would likely still take Perry.

Its one of the deeper defensive groups in the pool.
Like I said before, I would still take Perry in a points only.
Just remember that he is also a multi-cat stud so when he's in the box accumulating PIM's for those that want him to, you won't be getting the points you want.
If you can live with that, take Perry
