Voracek is a decent buy low candidate. He's still getting prime PP minutes. Read 7 pts, Voracek 5 pts. Has never gotten consistent time in the top 6 in Philly from what I can tell. Part of the reason for the low ice time is poor defensive play. Tye Mcginn over 17 minutes tonight tells the story.

If I could get Erat for Okposo in the league in my sig, should I do it? I have the cap room this year, and Erat goes to $3.75 next year (Okposo $3) then $2.25 the following year (Okposo $3.5)??

Read 8 pts, Giroux 7 pts. Voracek 8 pts, Schenn 8 pts. Yet the 1st 2 get all the prime ice time. Go figure.

Maybe Voracek just needs to be a third line kind of guy lol. Maybe he's only good in small doses .

In any case, very happy he got two points today. Might be just what I need to start selling him to league mates.

He's definitely looking better lately....points in 4 straight and 6 in his last 6 games.

That ******* is making me consider holding onto him again. UGH!!

Sure enough, tallies another two apples last night and leads the Flyers in points and is more or less tied for the team lead in SOG.

I'm going to trade him on a sell high if I get a good offer...

Okposo - I don't own him in any leagues.
Voracek - I scooped him off waivers in one league. PHI is so short-manned that he's going to get PP ice time. Worth holding.

This thread is kind of making me regret trading for Okposo recently. I didn't give up much to get him though. I gave up S. Kostitsyn and Forsberg and a draft pick but also got Backstrom (the goalie). I really needed a solid goalie.

As far as that goes you don't have to worry. He was on the top PP unit in Philly all of last season and they weren't decimated by injuries. He's definitely been getting plenty of opportunity since going to the Flyers.

I finally sold him off though....used him in a package to get John Tavares so I'm happy.

Don't see what to regret. If you needed goaltending that's a great deal in my eyes.

I still believe voracek will be a solid top 6 winger.. Sure are a lot of guys souring on him considering he leads his team in scoring and philly as a whole has not looked good at all. the fact that he has not been handed a top line gig might actually benefit his long term development IMO. He is still young, look at a player like Sam gagner.. He came into the league at 18 as well, and just because the points weren't trending up year over year dobber nation labeled him a bust. But the reality is that he is still only 22 and many players his age havent even earned the right to play a regular shift in the show... he has played 4 full seasons already.

    Patience will be rewarded.

What about Gerbe - time to cut bait? Why am I holding onto him - will he ever do anything? Considering dropping him - thoughts?

Okposo is horribad. His playmaking ability should be expressed with a negative value.
