    ^I like eric's reply.

I think there is no demand for Fleury.
Goalies scarcely move in trades, because teams set for post-season are usually pretty solid in net.

STL has made the move in the past for Halak, then Ryan Miller, even Brodeur.
    So precedent is there.

    I echo his reply.
    0-5% for Fleury.
40%-50% for Bishop. I think TB would like to move him... if they can get a decent piece back. I'm not sure it'll be much. 2nd rounder maybe... perhaps Jaskin (if STL has soured on him).

Brian Boyle could also be part of a trade too, if TB plays themselves out of playoff picture.

I think there's demand for Fleury but the Pens are better off keeping him for the depth in goal. The rest of their roster is fine. If they trade him and something happens with Murray then the next option is Jarry.

I still think Dallas makes a play for one of these two guys. I am not sure STL trades for a goalie of that calibre.

ED's response sums it up. Pitts got another solid chance at winning they cup this year they would be wise to keep Flower the whole year in case of a Murray injury.

The best chance Fleury has to get traded right now is to Calgary in return for Elliott +. Pittsburgh has a backup/1B for the playoffs, and their goalie conundrum for the offseason is solved. The plus could be a rental piece or the prospect/pick that they are expecting back when they trade Fleury.

I discuss Bishop in this week's Capped (out tomorrow), but it's 50/50 with respect to him getting moved. I think there's more options out there than we have really considered though.

Personally I think they both get moved in the offseason - Bishop's rights for a pick - thinking Philly, and Fleury HAS to be moved since he has a no-trade clause and that would expose Murray in the expansion draft. I like EB's idea of Calgary as a destination.

On paper it makes sense but I question the Pens wanting to take that much risk. Sometimes a goalie switching to a new team just doesn't work well (ex: Elliott himself). Would the Pens want to potentially go into the playoffs with a backup they don't trust or stick with the guy they know and have had success with?

Exactly Eric. A team that has a legitimate chance to win the cup will usually pay a pick for the depth they need for the playoffs. In this case they save their pick and keep the depth.

If anything the Pens should add a vet D or two to mainly do press box duty but provide depth in case injuries (Letang) happen. This won't cost them much.

I'm with Eric on this one as well.

Tampa's post-season chances are looking pretty slim and they will want to reclaim value for Bishop because there is no way they can sign him.

Fleury, no. I think if for nothing else but to ease the transition and confidence of the players to the new goalie, they will keep Fleury on the bench if they need to and if necessary, buy him out. The value he brings them is simply too high, even if he never plays another game.

If Bishop does wind up in StL, does that help him? Under Hitchcock my assumption would have been yes, but not sure now.
