This takes into account injury history, age (of course) and point potential over the next 3-5 years.

I like them this way in a points only league:

    Chara
    Weber
    Green
    Suter
    Boyle
    Markov
    Campbell
    Keith
    Visnovsky
    Del Zotto

A lot of these players are very close tho. The top 5 could easily flip and I would not be surprised in the least.

    Weber
    Suter
Green *obviously injury prone. If this wasn't an issue he'd easily be first on this list.
    Campbell
    Boyle
    Chara
    Keith
    Del Zotto
Markov *would be ranked higher if not such a high risk to miss games every season.
    Visnovsky

I agree with the bottom five, but my top five are almost all different:

    Green
    Weber
    Suter
    Boyle
    Chara

Why Green and Weber at the top? Look at how they performed in the last half of the abbreviated season - monster stats.

I'm still surprised at all this optimism with Green. We know how injury prone he is, and 14 of his 26 points last year came on the PP. With Ribeiro gone, I can't see their powerplay keeping up the absurd pace it was at last season's end. I'd peg him to average 0.5 points per game, but will probably only pull through with above 65 games played. Maybe I'm way too conservative with him though regarding his injury history and the powerplay production.

Interesting how much these lists are varying.

    My shot at it:

    (Points next year)

    Campbell
    Weber
    Keith
    Suter
    Green
    Del Zotto
    Visnovsky
    Chara
    Boyle
    Markov

(Keeper value - considering factors like age, durability and tradability)

Weber - just plain awesome, upside depends on Nashville or if he should leave

Suter - great situation in Minnie, team will only get better, hype is high

Keith - steady steady, and Chicago looks strong for a good while

Campbell - go-to with lots of young guns around him, coming up on 35, 2 b2b full seasons under his belt after a few years with injuries.

Green - still a lot of people remembering those big numbers. Sporadic and frustrating

Chara - I'm sensing a decline in pts only, but many are not, still valuable

Del Zotto - youngest here in a good situation, not certain he has the upside of some others

Boyle - contract extension in the works, but he seems to have lost a step

Markov - Great season last year, but with those knees, how long can it last?

Visnovsky - just turned 37, but with Streit gone and his contract issues behind him, I'm surprised more aren't calling for a bigger season
