How active is your league? At this point I would wait to see if Galchenyuk makes it first.

I wouldn't drop Goligoski for Galchenyuk. Not sure Galchenyuk will make the Habs, and even if he does I wouldn't expect his totals to be any better than Goligoski's while coming at the easier position to fill.

You only keep 8 players, and Galchenyuk would miss the cut as being one of your keepers, thus I would stick with Goligoski who will be a better contributer this year for you.

Keep Goli, he's the top pp d on his team and Galy won't make enough of an impact let alone have a chance at being a keeper yet

I dont know.... there are a lot of Hab fans out there chomping at the bit in regards to Galchenyuk. He has some good trade value. Possibly better trade value than Goligoski who only scored 30 points last year.

The upside of Galchenyuk as a forward is higher than the upside of Goligoski as a defenceman.

Your problem is that you are left with Green and Markov if you move Goligoski. Two very risky players.

I think I'd do it. Neither Galchenyuk or Goligoski will be keepers with your current roster, but I think the trade value of Galchenyuk will be higher. Your mileage may vary.

I'm feeling this post. My only reservation is I wonder who else is not owned. Perhaps GMs in your league aren't that astute. It's probably a matter of time before he is owned. Sometimes you have to strike early.

I'm guessing he has some time on the kid considering he was recently able to pick-up Schultz off the WW.

Don't lose Goli yet... this will be a nice year for him - even at half a season!

From what it looks like and what I read Gally will play 9 games and then - who knows.
I don't think he'll remain in Montreal for the remainder of the season. I think he'll finishes this year with Sarnia, OHL again because the Habs aren't a serious Playoff Threat and therefore won't waste one cheap year of their future franchise player.
