    Default Lecavilier destinations?

Where do you think he will wind up? Or does he stay with the Flyers? I heard several destinations over the summer but it seemed to be mostly unfounded rumors.
What kind of points does he put up this year on Philly? What about if he gets moved to favorable team?

It looks like he's sticking with the flyers, a few teams like Ottawa, Arizona, Winnipeg could probably use his services but he has a NMC so who knows if he would want to go to any of those destinations.

If he plays a full season i can still see him net 25G 35A, playing on a top 2 line with PP time, if he gets stuck in a 3rd line role can't see more than 45pts.

I think he's Untradeable, with his (new) albatross of a contract.

I mean name me a team that really needs the (very little) production Lecavalier brings, and has the salary space to burn?

Just an awful, awful contract by the Flyers?

He'll be with the Flyers for at least this season and score @55 points if he can stay healthy. As of now his salary is higher than his cap hit so it's not too likely that even cap-floor teams would have much interest.

Every team is above the floor right now.

I think if the Flyers wanna move him they'll have to absorb 50% of his salary (max allowed) but at that point he's probably more useful on the team than not.

Or they could get creative and ship Lecav + a good prospect to a team with cap space. Let's recall to when Brian Burke traded Brett Lebda for Matthew Lombardi (cap dump) and Cody Franson.

Not sure why we are talking about a free agent in all fantasy league formats?? This guy will not score 50 points..

Do yourself a favor and draft someone else!!

Huh? I'm confused, he's signed through 2017-18. And this is the forum for keeper forwards?

He's useless though.. Why waste a roster spot on a guy who is clearly spiraling downwards every year..??

You can find guys on the waiver wire in your leagues that will help you out more..

I think Zorro means he is not worth owning in fantasy hockey, regardless of how many years remain on his NHL contract.

EDIT: Zorro supplied his own answer quicker than I did.

Well this is why I am asking, in one of my leagues he is on the cusp for me. It is a deep league so he holds value if he can get me 50 pts

You draft Lecavalier and have him take up a roster spot.. Or you can draft/pickup one of these guys who may be on the waiver wire already and will, more then likely, out perform Lecavalier:

Cogliano, Vermette, Soderberg, Ennis, Hudler, Tlusty, Atkinson, Hemsky, Purcell, Williams, C.Smith, Zuccarello, MacArthur, Johansson, Brouwer, or Frolik..

Or you can take a flier on a younger player who think will bust out next year or soon enough to make him a part of your team..
