I'm already looking forward to next off-season too.
I felt a bit jaded in my two roto leagues, finishing 2nd/3rd... JUST. NEEDED. MORE. TIME.

But the off-season will feel short... late-August (when Yahoo! opens) will be here before we know it. Lots of new UFA signings in new places will give a fresh feel to the season.

Too many spreadsheets made out of boredom means... I. will. not. lose!

Being a CAL fan, I'm keenly curious to see how they do this year. Expectations are low, but on a team that's already in the basement, it'll be interesting to see signs of life. Plus for the first time in a long time there's a sliver of light at the end of the tunnel

Rough Yea..but unless they find a way to really mess up (which IS entirely possible...) at least there's now some semblance of direction.... vs. feeling listless the last few years lol...

C'mon....that "sliver" of hope is ALL I got......

1)I am looking forward to seeing MacKinnon, Barkov, Drouin, and Jones play with their new clubs..

2)How Bobrovsky follows up the veizna winning season..

3)How both Vancouver and NYR do next year..

4)And how much better the Bruins do with Iginla and Eriksson instead of Jagr and Seguin.. I also think the young kids on D more then make up for the loss of Ference.. Chiarelli is no fool, he knows what it takes to win..

5)Can Crosby last through a 82 game season??

I would give anything to see Iggy and the Bruins make it all the way to the Conference Finals only to get swept by the Pens.

Other than that, for the first time in a VERY long time I am genuinely excited to be a Leafs fan heading into the season. I look forward to seeing the Leafs in the playoffs again (knock on wood) and proving that their near first-round upset over the eventual champs this year was no fluke.

    1. Can't wait to see which prospects/youngins make the Wild roster.

    2. Realignment, might have to make a trip to Winnipeg or Chicago.

    3. Full 82 game season.

    4. Start up my leagues normal one year setup after taking a year off due to finishing grad school and a short season.

    5. Living back in MN so I can attend games again.
