    Default Bold Calder Prediction

I'm bored, it's the slow time of the year for news, so thought I would share my bold prediction.

    Sam Reinhart wins the Calder.

I don't have a ton to base this on other than the fact he will get the opportunity in Buffalo, and his hockey IQ is through the roof. My thought is he has been underrated by many experts and forecasters. Of course there is a good chance he pulls a Drouin and doesn't even make the jump this year, but if he manages to stick with the big club he could surprise in my opinion.

Who is your prediction for the Calder.........

I don't think you fully understand how the NHL Calder trophy works.

Let me break it down for you:
    1) Go to NHL.com
    2) Click on individual stats
    3) Select 'Rookies' from the drop down menu
    4) Award trophy to whom ever is at the top of the list when sorted by points.

The odds of a D-man topping that list are astronomical, so much so that your pick falls closer to madness than boldness.
