    The Wolverine

    Default Your favourite 'B' movie

We all have one, whether we like to admit it or not. You know the one - a mediocre film, whether it's due to bad acting, cheesy lines, non-existent/poorly structured plot, etc but you still love it. In fact, you could watch it over and over again simply because it's entertaining. And that it's cheesy. And that the acting is bad. And so on.

    I'll tell you mine:

    Maximum Overdrive: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0091499/

It's a Stephen King film based on one of his short stories, called 'Trucks'.

For 8 days in 1986, the earth passed through the tail of a mysterious Rea-M rogue comet. During that time, machines on earth suddenly come to life and terrorize their human creators. A small group of people in a truck stop, surrounded by "alive" semi-trailers, set out to stop the machines before the machines stop them.
It also includes my favourite Stephen King cameo:

I really don't know very many B movies I guess.

I watched a lot of Mystery Science Theater, there were two movies that were hilariously awesome besides the commentary.

    This Island Earth
Mitchell (this movie was great, it was a horribly made action movie, but still a gem)

    That's a great movie!

One that springs to mind...actually two...

Vincent Price in House of Wax (1953) - there are so many other I love w/Price but this one is it for me.

Nosferatu (1922) - if a 1922 silent movie can creep me out, it deserves to top my list. Funny, you can view the actual full film on YouTube now.

Do movies produced by The Asylum fall under the B movie category?

If so, my vote goes to Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus.

I've yet to watch Mega Shark vs Crocosaurus which stars Urkel, but I'm hoping it's just as good/bad as it's predecessor.
    Without me, it's only "aweso".

Not sure if it qualifies but Logan's Run immediately comes to mind.

I have no idea what 'officially' qualifies as a 'B' movie - just anything that generally is known as a lower quality film for whatever reason. But I don't mean poor blockbusters...you know what I mean.

That doesn't belong here - it's a proper classic horror film!

    But that's just my opinion.

Not even sure if this qualifies as a B movie but Out Cold was classic. This is where the Allan character from Hangover was born.
