    Default Ellis Vs Emery

So I have 4 goalies in my H2H league.
    Howard, Lehtonen, Rinne, Ellis

Emery is available and I was toying with the idea of dropping Ellis for Emery.

What do you guys think of Ellis vs Emery?

I was just about to post a similar question... Emery is available on my WW and I can grab him, but I'm wondering if he'll be the go-to guy down the stretch. Ellis is always mediocre and I feel like if Emery can pull off a good showing tonight vs NYR, and follow up with something good, he may be the starter for the stretch run.

What are everyone's thoughts on this?

I think watch the game tonight, see how he looks and decide from there. I wouldn't make the move now before seeing him even take the ice.

This was Ellis' first truly marginal game since he came over to Anaheim and while Emery did make a couple of good saves, it seems he still (understandably) has some rust to shake off.

I suspect Ellis will be given a chance to get back on track Wednesday and if he still struggles Emery will get his first start the next game. You'll never hear who's starting for the Ducks until right before game time, so this is really just a wait-and-see thing, if you can afford to.

EDIT: Just saw Justin's article on Emery and Holtby on the front page. He seems to think he could have some value down the stretch and possibly even later as trade bait in keeper leagues.

Well I think you are strong enough in goal to afford to play a little if you wish - but I just don't think you have enough information yet to make this call. Wait one more game.
