I don't know about all 4 lines... but I heard Zacha was starting the season as the centre between Hall and Palmieri

What line do you believe Hischier will start on? Could he finish as their #1C?

Sorry didn't see this. not sure why this thread doesn't appear as unread for me but anyway here is your updates:

    23 man roster

Goaltenders - Cory Schneider, Keith Kinkaid.

Defensemen - Andy Greene, Damon Severson, Ben Lovejoy, John Moore, Dalton Prout, Mirco Mueller, Steve Santini, Will Butcher.

Forwards - Taylor Hall, Nico Hischier, Adam Henrque, Marcus Johansson, Kyle Palmieri, Pavel Zacha, Jesper Bratt, Stefan Noesen, Drew Stafford, Jimmy Hayes, Miles Wood, Blake Coleman, Brian Gibbons.

    IR listed: Zajac, Mcleod, Boyle

Interesting cuts: Blandisi, Quennville, Lappin (probably bc they didn't need to clear waivers)

    Forward lines most likely:

    Hall-Zacha-Palmieri
    Johansson-Hischier-Stafford
    Bratt-Henrique-Noesen
    Wood-Coleman-Hayes
    With Gibbons the extra

Not sure what the PP will look like sorry

Devils PP units seem to be:
    Zacha-Severson / Johansson-Hischier-Bratt
    Hall-Butcher / Palmieri-Henrique-Hayes

Bratt and Hayes playing in front of the net, Zacha and Hall on the blueline with the two D-men.

Palmieri might be out awhile. Knee on knee collision with Johnson.
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.

Butcher with 3 PPA after two periods. Bratt with his career first goal on the PP. Hischier has looked great so far. Things are starting to look better for the Devils but it will take some time before this becomes a regular thing.

How did Hischier look in his first game? Any chance he gets sent down after 9 games?

Looked great. Generated several scoring chances, was not afraid to go to the front of the net and generally looked not at all like a rookie playing his first NHL game. There is no chance he is sent down.

I like what I saw today from the Devils. I know it was only the Avs, but NJ looked decent. One of my bounce back candidates is Cory Schneider - he is the key to any resurgence in the swamp.

I agree with this. He didn't get on the scoreboard but he played a very good game. He's one of the few offensively talented players on that team, so I don't see him being sent back to junior, not at all.

Look at all these posts on the devils thread!!! Exciting times.

Hopefully palmeri and stafford are only short term.

I like that bratt in practice is being rewarded with the top RW slot. Thinking let him ride a game or two their and rest palmeri.
