Not drafted well? Not true at all. They've drafted just fine. It was the development process that sucked. As far as the rumors go, I just heard about them on the way to the gym. I'm hearing Lafontaine is out. Notice he never commented on the Miller trade last night? Apparently canceled attendance at a function tonight too.

I know he had problems w/the Islanders as well, but I really never anticipated this. Anyone's guess really.

EDIT: Maybe it's gotsomething to do w/Nolan's contract extension???

Hey Bomm, your thoughts on the goalie situation now? Clear starter or tandem? Thanks.

Tandem with an edge to Enroth in getting the bulk of the starts. Nolan's a big loyalty guy, so as long as he is here I think Enroth gets the bulk. Remember, Enroth - despite his poor record -continued to receive more starts than he ever had, prior to Miller being moved.

    Why?

Cuz losing translates to higher first rounders, and that plays in Murray's overall strategy for this and next season. this off season and next year the Sabres will continue to sell and compile as many picks and prospects. From 2015-16, and 2016-17 once their core is established, then they'll be buyers - looking for key vets to put them over the top.

    Ideally.
