It's really early so I am holding my breath a little but we look like we belong. I haven't watched a game where I thought we were outmatched. It's good hockey!

Ugh. Don't get excited about this Canuck fans. Three OT wins to start the season is 6 points that might keep us from Nolan Patrick.

I love this team, but it's not ready to compete this year. The D is incredibly green and the scoring is thin (and that top line will slow later in the year as they have the last few). It's nice to see Markstrom with a strong start. I'd love to see him excel. And Horvat scoring early on is a great sign.

The way the lottery works no guarantees we get him anyway. I would rather our current players like Bo and Marky progress instead of tanking like the leafs/Coilers. Outside of Patrick any other high end talent this year in the draft?

    I wouldn't even call Patrick a "high-end" talent

another Yakupov draft in the making.

Hoping the nucks tank is just going to make for a miserable year for you. If they do, oh well but I am going cheer regardless. I am not sure how you call Sbisa, Edler, Tanev and Guds incredibly green? The chances of winning the lottery are slim to none for the Canucks, just no luck there.

Ah, I agree. I do still get excited when they win. I just need to remind myself that nothing right now really matters. I don't see things going all that well.
Hutton and Larsen are currently playing #2 and #4 minutes. And after the current six, it's looking like Tryamkin and Biega -- that's not an experienced blueline.

This team will go as far as Sedin-Sedin-Eriksson go because I think as long as they're clicking, the secondary scoring will be enough.
But that's what they are: secondary scoring. Or tertiary scoring maybe.

ya, i am not sold on Larsen. and they have to get Tryamkin in for some games.
As soon as any injuries hit - the team will slide I think.

    Markstrom sure looked last night.

SO.... shutout 3 of the last 4 games. Are they gonna even reach 100 goals this year? Time to drop D.Sedin?

Make that 4 of their last 5. The team has only scored 17 goals this year! In 11 games! That's 1.55 goals per game for a full-season pace of 127 goals. What's the record least goals-for in an 82-game season?

I do not have all day.....

But I think that the big thing is that you need to keep Eriksson on the top line with the Sedins at regular and powerplay. and Having Edler back will help as well.
