It'd be nice to see Vrbata moved for some blueline help at the deadline. They shouldn't really be looking at this postseason, so getting something for him before his contract is up would be the ideal situation.

LOL, I came here to post what an epically horrible game Edler had and I find the last post here is this!?

Minus-2 in a 2-2 game so far, 6 penalty minutes, he got beat at his own blueline on the first goal, then deflected/kicked in one of the TB goals and early in the game he came out from behind his net and passed it through his OWN crease! That could have been a Steve Smith-like moment, especially with a monsterously large goalie like Markstrom in your net. Thank God I'm not a Canuck fan because his play would drive me crazy.

I started Markstrom tonight, so I'd really like to get a win...come on Vancouver!

EDIT/UPDATE: Shit! Edler with another minus on the GWG...although Henrik Sedin did him no favours by changing when he did.

another sub par game last night, his confidence is shot. Canucks need to trade him.

Edler is terrible. I need two hands to count his mistakes/game. Hutton should be in his place.

Package him up with Higgins and send them off, should have done it a year ago.

I'd say Miller starts two thirds of the games down the stretch. But I could see more of a 50/50 split next season.

Thatcher Demko had a night to remember this evening with Boston College.

After defeating Harvard last Monday for a berth in the Beanpot final - an annual tournament that features Boston College, Boston University, Northeastern and Harvard - Demko and Boston College faced Boston University tonight in the final.

Boston College won in 1-0 in OT, on a goal scored by Minnesota Wild prospect, Alex Tuch. Demko was great throughout the game holding BU scoreless, posting his ninth shutout of the season. Which is important, as the 9th shutout means that Thatcher Demko passes former Canucks goaltender Cory Schneider for the Boston College single-season shutout record.
