The Canucks played well and it was super enjoyable to watch. Burrows has a phone hearing already scheduled...pretty sure he's going to miss a bit of time. The hit was late.

The NHL has suspended Alex Burrows for three games for his high, late hit on Montreal's Alexei Emelin.
Burrows will be eligible to return on Thursday. The NHL ruled that the "hit is so late that it can not be made at all." However, the league also specified that it would have been an illegal check to the head even if the hit was made in a timely manner. Burrows struggled mightily last season, but he was off to a good start in 2014-15 with two goals and six points in 10 contests.

I disagree, but with the suspension on Volchenkov and Ference at least the league is being somewhat consistent - can't ask for more than that.
Great game last night, I was crap here we go again - a repeat of the last game against Colorado - but they totally dominated the second period and the late goal by Hank was deserved.
Bonino is turning out to be a great addition, 9 points in 8 games! And that line looked good last night with Vey.
I think with Horvat winning 66% of his faceoffs he might be up for awhile.

I'm sort of regretting not taking D.Sedin when I had a chance in one of my leagues. I thought with all that change and losing Kesler, the Canucks would struggle, but Bonino's been a good fit, Miller's playing well and the early returns look good for Vey. Having two lines going well certainly helps. I actually think Van City is going to be alright.

It's been awesome. I figured things would fall apart with that California road trip -- but besides the Kings game, it was awesome!

The Canucks have the 5th lowest team PDO in the league!
This team's been awesome AND a bit unlucky!
I worry about their depth. Losing Hamhuis is big.
