Then I have accomplished the impossible!

Which begs the question... why have the Leafs not made the playoffs in 5 years? If it's deemed impossible, and I made it possible, then why can't they? Haha.

At least, I get the chance to wear my Kessel jersey with pride! (I got it for my birthday last year... in the middle of their horrid december slump, and after that Kessel didn't do much until near the end - end of school year crunch time)

I'll try. Wearing it in the middle of Ottawa isn't necessarily a safe experience.

But I survived wearing it last Sunday, so I should be fine because it's just the Flames (instead of the Habs and Sens last week).

If I don't ever speak again, assume I was hung, burned to the stake, and held hostage.

Preventable loss, but lessons learned for the Leafs. They need to be less sloppy in the defensive end, and make crisper passes. Pretty brutal game by all, except Kessel. Yet again, he was on fire.

I'm happy we managed to get a point, really wasn't a well-deserved one.

Kadri has been assigned to the Marlies ..... probably on a conditioning stint and then he will be back up with the big club.

Kadri assigned to Marlies and Connolly is inching closer to return. Told he's doubtful for tomorrow, but could play after that.

Very much a conditionning stint imo. It's been mentioned as a possibility for a while. Glad to see that he and Connolly could come back in a short while. Should make it interesting if the team can keep on going without them.

Yep from a leafs fan perspective it's nice to see there will be some competition for roster spots, hopefully it will make some of the boys play that little bit harder. From a fantasy perspective it sucks

"Leafs" and "Fantasy perspective" don't quite mesh together quite yet.

Kessel, Phaneuf, Reimer might be the only ones really drafted in most leagues. Liles, Schenn, Kulemin, Lupul, Grabovski might see some time in deeper leagues (Schenn in hit/BS leagues), but apart from that the team isn't up there...

...yet.
