yeah, Gardiner and Rielly have stepped up. Shows how much smooth skating endurance helps. Their style of skating is very efficient which helped them out in that 2OT and in yesterdays game to bounce back easily.

I see more Weber than Hjalm in Nielsen. Hjalm is a defensive beast, Nielsen still learning his own zone. But has a nasty, heavy shot. Greenway perhaps becomes a Hjalm for us.

I wasn't comparing skill set, or skill level, but more the No2 in the Leafs D. Like how those guys are for chicago.

Again, no lol. Babcock is in a tier of his own in salary. That's about it
I thought this clown was "gone for good"?
    Lol. So pathetic!

Lol, saying Babcock isn't a great coach is so completely asinine.

Never mind how much success he's had in his career, to me all you have to do is look at the case of Kadri. Before Babcock went to Toronto, Kadri was looking like a train wreck of a player. Perceived to have a bad attitude, on-ice issues, off-ice issues. Instead of continuing to shit on him, Babcock went a different route and made Kadri feel like he was needed to be a leader on this young team and you're seeing it pay huge dividends now.

Great coaches know how to get the most out of their players. Babcock is one of those guys.

A couple game 4 wake up calls last night, all 3 series trailing teams won. Glad they played first. How fired up are these kids going to be tonight knowing how hard Wsh is going to come out fighting?!

Who said he isn't a great coach???? The notion was "tier of his own" which is completely false.

I have no idea how re-seeding works but I'm guessing top seed (mtl) will face lowest seed (tor) and then the remaining teams (pit/bos) will square off

Leafs and Rangers have essentially swapped divisions so Leafs would play the winner of PIT/CBJ.

Gents, you want to argue about the Leafs, I have no problem with that. But save the inter-forum love spats for PMs. That's where they belong.

    You know the drill.
