Depends where vokoun goes.
Could be 6 of 1 half dozen of the other if you only have 2 goalie cats that count.
Personally i'd go with Vokoun because i'm sure his sv% will be better and maybe you get lucky on his new team with wins.
Would you trade Kipper for Vokoun in a keeper leagure? Wins and SPct.
Kipper has had more wins in the past but with the Flames sucking this year, Vokoun looks to get similar number of wins as Kipper but much better SPct. He seems to be the better option right now and possibly for the rest of the year. It seems certain that Vokoun will get traded before the end of the season as I don't see Florida letting him go for nothing. The question is: who will be better over the next few years? A lot depends on where Vokoun goes for Wins but seems like you can count on his SPct to be around the .920 mark, whereas Kipper's has fluctuated a lot. Calgary will probably be bad for the next 2-3 years so Kipper's value is not as high as it used to be. I'm leaning towards offering Kipper for Vokoun.

I had the exact same decision this offseason, took Kipper, and I'm certainly regretting it. Take Vokoun.
I sympethyse with Dys. Yep take Vokey
Calgary's a mess, Vokoun will likely end up with a contender. Take vokoun.

I doubt it. I don't see Kipper losing too many starts to Karlsson. Calgary as a whole sucks, it's not Kipper's fault they keep losing. If anything, Sutter is going to rely more heavily on him down the stretch if Calgary is to have any hope of making the playoffs (a very faint one).
I'm convinced that Vokoun is the better goalie but has been stuck on a crappy team for a few years so his Wins are not that great. What worries me a little about him is that this is the last year of his contract and he could pull a Nabokov and go play in the KHL, if he gets too greedy. Nevertheless, I am going to try to trade Kipper for him and take my chance. Kipper's SPct is really killing me and I don't see that getting much better this year.
