I wouldn't hold out hope on this, Doan has said he wants to stay in Phoenix and that he is going to give new ownership time to see if they can get sorted out first.

Tomas Holmstrom - W - Red Wings
Tomas Holmstrom has narrowed his options down to playing for Detroit or retiring.
Holmstrom isn't interested in signing with any other club. For now he's training like he normally would, but he still isn't sure if he wants to play in 2012-13. He plans to talk to Red Wings GM Ken Holland is a week or two to discuss his future.

According to Helen St. James:
Red Wings settle with RFA D Kyle Quincey for two years, $7.55 million.
$3.775M a year.
That is painful to see. They now have Quincey at $3.75 million and Ericsson at $3.25 million......yikes.
And they STILL have $13 million free.....
I was hoping for some more exciting signings, but Quincey is a solid dman to have.
