Dawg, Lehner gets the start against the Oil. Adjust accordingly.

lol. come on! When it comes right down to it, I'd choose the Oilers over my fantasy team. But I've been in this league for 15+ years with the same buddies and the rivalry is pretty intense and I need all the points I can get!

It's a moot point anyway because, as Doug Glatt points out, Lehner is getting the start today.

If you can help make this happen...please do so. Think I'll continue to take Eakins lead and bench the Yakmyster unfilled I see it. Thank gawd for Dupuis as a more than adequate fill in on my squad.

I have a feeling Jordan Tootoo will be an Oiler shortly. I think dealing Brown was a stepping stone to landing Tootoo, who apparently is on the block and I know the Oilers expressed interest in him before.

I'd be okay with this but it doesn't really solve their problems.

Lars Eller says the Oilers play like a Jr team.

I love this stuff. The Oilers need to realize how little respect everyone has for them around the league and that until they grow up that they are going to continue to lose.

I wish more players would make comments like this to hopefully wake the Oilers up.

some of the Oilers might take offense to the comment, but Eller is speaking truthfully

Haha love it. Not the smartest thing to say on Eller's part before facing an opposing team, but the man speaks the truth.

The more I watch, the more I think he's not given enough credit. Even when the team is recovered from injuries, he will stick. If he exceeds expectations, I could see a Gagner trade.

He's a great story but he's a real longshot to keep it up, even if I'd love for him to do so.

What other players enter the league at 25, have never scored above a PPG in the AHL, and dont really have much of a pedigree, but end up making a productive (in a fantasy hockey sense) career for themselves?

Would be interested in any recent (say ... past 15 years) examples of these players.

I just think once bodies start getting shuffled around that he'll cool off considerably.
