Ok Edmonton not sure if Plan A was to deal for Hamonic, but if it was, that is now off the table with Hamonic's trade request withdrawal.
Does this change the Oilers thought process around the #4 pick? What might be something else the Oil may pursue in way of a deal?
Vatanen or Lindholm perhaps?

I think the Anaheim D should definitely be a target of theirs. Anaheim has D to spare, and could use another big scorer.

Anyone think they could peel Ceci out of Ottawa? I would think a good young prospect out of his hometown might be tough, but he may become available due to expansion.

Is that Justin Schultz? I don't recognize some NHL players, although with that beard, there is no way it's Sidney Crosby. Good for Schultz, too bad things didn't work out in Edmonton. I'll be following who will sign him this summer, for how long and how much.

It would be great if they could, but it would cost. If Edmonton could protect him, then it would depend on what they have to give up to get him. I'd love to see Ceci with the Oilers.

I dont think the Oilers want either of those contracts straight up anyway so in a word, phew!Oilers are NOT trading 4th overall pick for any D but Subban or Weber, and neither I believe is getting dealt
