So Shaw takes a stupid penalty near the end of the first that leads to a PPG for Nashville (and looked to be the game-winning goal for a long while).

He's punished by literally having the most time on ice than any other Habs forward. More than Pacioretty, Radulov, Galchenyuk, etc.

It was his third-highest TOI this season.

I just don't get it. He's going to cost us a playoff game if the Habs don't get him to stop taking these stupid penalties.

Radulov not playing tonight. Anyone know why? I've missed the first two periods of the game.

He blocked a Subban shot at the end of the last game with his foot.

Martinsen's play in his debut likely means McCarron to minors.

    Excited to see Davidson play.

I have no issues with Julien taking the road trip to switch the lineups every game to get the new guys in.

Gotta see what you've got to work with right?

Plus it holds Emelin accountable for his many mistakes.

Any news on Plekanec? Was it just a maintenance day for him?

I've seen it listed as a maintenance day and haven't heard anything about a specific injury. He should be fine.

Yahoo just listed him as DTD... doesn't mean anything serious as they use the acronym for minor things such as a cold but still something to monitor.

Interesting, not sure what that means. I know from owning Hossa in one league for five years that he would constantly get the "injury" status whenever he would skip practices in the second half. Had it happen a lot with Kunitz as well.

Still no news on Plekanec, but I did find this cool info about him on RotoWorld:

Tomas Plekanec will play in his 900th career game, each with Montreal, as they take on the Blues on Saturday, March 4th.
The 34-year-old career-long Hab has been a pillar of consistency from season to season over his long career. He's posted 223 goals and 576 points, with seven seasons of 20+ goals with six seasons of 50+ points. His career highs are 29 goals and 70 points. Perhaps though what's most remarkable about him has been his durability. Plekanec has missed more than two games in a season just twice. Lastly, he becomes the 12th ever Canadien to skate in as many as 900 games and will become the sixth-ever to reach 1,000 games if he can hang on just a bit longer.

    UPDATE on Plekanec from RotoWorld:

Tomas Plekanec took a therapy day Monday and his status isn't clear for Tuesday night.
He has the longest ironman streak on the Canadiens with 236 consecutive games played. We will leave him active for now. Plekanec hasn't scored a goal in 17 straight games and he has contributed just two assists during that span. Mar 7 - 10:20 AM
