I like the approach Therrien intends to take with Semin. Of course, he would not say out loud that he would handle it like a tyrant, but playing the card of the group elevating Semin's game is astute.
Now we'll see how it unfolds... I think the relationship between Therrien and Semin will be a fascinating storyline this season.
    Points-only keeper league. 12 teams. Keep any 12 players. Dress 12F - 6D - 2G.

It's one thing to say it now but let's wait till February to see how this plays out.

Anyone know when the Habs single game tickets go on sale? There’s no info on their web site yet.

The only thing I see is an option to subscribe to their newsletter. I'm guessing that is where they will make the announcement?

How do Habs fans feel about re-igniting the rivalry with the Nordiques?

When I started really watching hockey (from about 1988 on), the Nordiques were a laughing stock, and were never a big threat to the Habs. And no matter what happens, I'll always hate the Bruins more.

It may take a while before a rivalry re-ignites. The Nordiques should be bad for a few seasons, and it usually takes some playoff matches to get a rivalry going.

It should be fun for fans but I don't know if it will translate into any hatred on the ice.

I may be underestimating the bitterness of some of their fans over this:

Man that jersey has always been my favourite (The Blue Nordique Jersey).

I remember a story about Patrick Roy during these playoffs, I think it was game 3 against the Nordiques. He got up in the room, and said to his teammates "Guys, there is no more puck going in on my part. The rest is yours".

Didn't he say that before all the overtimes?

Do the tickets for the Winter Classic go on-sale then as well or do they usually do that game separately?
