The guy that got Price's jersey autographed on the record-setting night just got a huge collector's item.

I've all but written him off as a prospect of significance but definitely hope he does well.

    Price in vs Toronto.

Carey Price will start in Saturday's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Price starting is typically expected, but some might have assumed he would rest on Saturday to be better prepared for the playoffs. He has played in 65 games after all. Still, it looks like he'll be out there for the season finale.

I can't say that I like the Colton Orr call up. I can see that it is a way for Toronto to say goodbye to him, but I am concerned that he will want to go out with a splash. I hope everyone on the team will just ignore him.

He'll take a few runs at people and then Prust will have to take him on. Then we won't see Orr again.

Just so people know the stakes tonight, Montreal can finish first or second in the division. They can still play Detroit, Ottawa, Pittsburgh or Boston in the first round. We may have a clearer picture this afternoon after the Sens game, but we really won't know our opponent until after the games tonight.

Writer of the weekly Top 10 column.

12-team Keeper pool, straight points for forwards & dmen. Goalies get: 2 points per win, 3 per shutout, 1 point per assist & 1 point per shootout loss.

    League champ in 2013, 2015, 2018, 2020 and 2022.

Top 8 forwards, 5 dmen and 2 goalies count.

We keep 15 players (any position) plus two rookies.

Forwards: Panarin, Ovechkin, Kopitar, Stamkos, Tuch, Rust, Marchessault, Pavelski, Miller, Bertuzzi, Stone, Kakko, Brown, Stankoven, Kovalenko
Defence: Hedman, Fox, Matheson, Thrun, Jiricek
Goalies: Kochetkov, Talbot, Vasilevskiy, Campbell, Schmid

I think MTL can beat any of those 4 teams. I would rather have them finish first so they could have home ice advantage for the first 2 rounds at least.

Two division titles in three years plus a trip to the conference final. Pretty amazing run!

FYI - Mark MacMillan signed an ELC out of college. Not much here - I would personally rank him much lower than Daniel Carr who is also a long-shot for the NHL.

    Thanks for the update.

    Saw this in the article:
According to several media members at practice, Pacioretty is wearing a slightly tinted visor.
Concussion? Did we get any info on that or just the usual UBI BS?
