Tokarski will be in goal tomorrow vs Edmonton. Busy schedule coming up so I expect to see a bit more of him. Hopefully he delivers.

Tokarski still has problems sliding around everywhere... needs to learn to stay in his net. He's small enough as it is!

Meanwhile Beaulieu is having an outstanding game.

Gonchar won't play next game vs Detroit.

I'm guessing Gilbert is back in the lineup, then?

Probably. It makes sense putting a RHD opposite of Beaulieu.

Looks like Emelin is paired with Beaulieu. Makes no sense to me. Which means it will probably work out amazingly.

Boring game tonight but glad the Habs pulled it off. Neither team was giving an inch defensively.

I am sort of numb now to Price completely shutting the door. It's become such a routine thing.

Starting to understand how it's felt to be a NJ Devils fan.

Beaulieu has been learning Russian, obviously.

Tokarski in tomorrow, Price in Thursday. I believe Gonchar practiced today but the report I read was not 100% clear.

Down Goes Brown has an interesting column on Grantland about the top trades that almost happened, but ultimately didn't.

This one involved the Habs trading for Vincent Lecavalier:

According to Sportsnet’s Jeff Marek, Lightning GM Brian Lawton claims he almost landed an even bigger package: Carey Price, Max Pacioretty, a first-round pick, and either Subban or Ryan McDonagh.
What a silly rumour. Like we'd ever trade McDonagh as part of a package for a forward on the decline.

Writer of the weekly Top 10 column.

12-team Keeper pool, straight points for forwards & dmen. Goalies get: 2 points per win, 3 per shutout, 1 point per assist & 1 point per shootout loss.

    League champ in 2013, 2015, 2018, 2020 and 2022.

Top 8 forwards, 5 dmen and 2 goalies count.

We keep 15 players (any position) plus two rookies.

Forwards: Panarin, Ovechkin, Kopitar, Stamkos, Tuch, Rust, Marchessault, Pavelski, Miller, Bertuzzi, Stone, Kakko, Brown, Stankoven, Kovalenko
Defence: Hedman, Fox, Matheson, Thrun, Jiricek
Goalies: Kochetkov, Talbot, Vasilevskiy, Campbell, Schmid

Really? He did a column at least a year ago where he brought up this trade. I hope he hasn't turned to regurgitating past articles and updating them to continue getting content out...
