The new-look first line looked pretty good in its first game. Plek especially looked motivated to make stuff happen. He doesn't want to lose the spot. Internal competition is always good. Galchenyuk needs to work through this and force his way back up.

In the last 25ish days, the Habs have played six games. Brutal. Four of those games have been back-to-back. So there's been a lot of down time.

I thought about this yesterday and I actually think the down time played into the crazy line changes. The Habs went a bit cold and Therrien had too much time to think about it.

Hopefully Galchenyuk learned his lesson yesterday about over-handling the puck and keeping his head down.

Price is out DTD after the collision caused by the Pacioretty shove in the Columbus game. I would think it's a bruise and not a long-term thing.

Tokarski starts tonight. This is where losing Budaj for nothing hurts the team a bit. Instead of calling up Joey MacDonald they would be calling up Budaj. Thankfully Price should not be out much longer.

Also, the lead announcer on TVA screams like a girl when they score.

A couple quick observations:
-Tokarski is a good goalie but he kicks out too many rebounds and loses sight of the puck often
-Moving Desharnais to C and Galchenyuk to LW obviously worked. Each had a goal
-Thomas was buzzing all night. If he keeps playing like this he'll be getting his first goal soon

Better than Paul Romanak (sp?) on CTV. He was brutal last night. Very monotone, no matter what happened.

Subban had his 10th goal last night, that was his total all last year, be interesting to see if he continues the pace

Habs had their practice open to the public and Price told them he wouldn't be out for long. He didn't actually specify that he would start next game. Wondering if that means Tokarski starts with Price serving as backup...
