Yeah pretty much although nothing in his play showed that he should be in before any of the guys listed.

It's possible that Bourque and Vanek swapped jerseys.

Now that the season is over I'll do a full grading of everyone that played for the Habs this year. I'll do separate regular season and playoff editions.

Here's a question that you might want to answer in the grades. How much extra money did Weaver earn from this playoff run? If the Habs lose in the first round, he's probably making close to what he did this year ($1.1 million). Now, does he get close to $2 million?

Goalies: Kochetkov, Talbot, Vasilevskiy, Campbell, Schmid

    Same goes for Weise TBH.

Word is that Vanek, Murray and Parros won't be returning...so far so good:

I hope they let Boullion and Gionta walk too...Markov too if he wants 3+ years as is rumored. I love the guy I just feel like he's one bad hit away from ending his career, he's not the d-man he was.
Go after Callahan maybe? Or Orpik would make a nice addition too

I'd be worried about Callahan and his body breaking down. We see it with Prust now, and Mike Richards.

Habs still need a game-breaker forward that you can count on. Before the playoffs, I wanted them to go after Gaborik. But after this playoffs, no chance of that happening. Spezza would be a good option too.

But since that forward doesn't exist, the Habs should focus on lesser-known players that answer team needs. ie- A forward that wins a lot of faceoffs.

Good point, he's going to want a long term deal and I agree with you that his body probably isn't going to last.
Spezza is too soft though, I'd rather we just keep building what we have than sign him. We've got a good core, we just need to add some small pieces and continue to develop our prospects

Habs need a game breaker with size and heart. Vanek only has 2 of those things and I would not want Kovalev 2.0 to stay. In fact, Kovalev was better... We'll have to develop our scorers for now.. Markov I wouldn't mind if he stayed if he was given less minutes, on a lower pairing. If his ego can handle that, I think he should stay. I love Gionta's effort, but the guy just can't finish! I don't know if he comes back but I get the feeling he does, as the organization likes his presence. I don't want Callahan, though he could be a good Shayne Corson 2.0, I just don't know that he is. I think he might stay in Tampa.. I'd like to keep Weaver and Bouillon I think will be let go.. Swan song was admirable, but is done. I would really like an Orpik. If we could make that happen, I'd be satisfied with that offseason.
