I believe with the two days off, Bournival should be at least OK entering Saturday's contest. Plus, the Rangers matchup won't be as physical so maybe Therrien wants a speedier lineup.

I just feel like scratching Bournival isn't fair. Maybe Prust or Bourque? Anyway, I don't know, Therrien has been a magician with his lineup so far so I guess we shouldn't worry!

Yeah, Bourque would be my option. He wasn't very good against the Bruins. Anyone else remember that 2 on 1 where he had the puck the whole time? He wound up taking a weak backhand shot.

12-team Keeper pool, straight points for forwards & dmen. Goalies get: 2 points per win, 3 per shutout, 1 point per assist & 1 point per shootout loss.

    League champ in 2013, 2015, 2018, 2020 and 2022.

Top 8 forwards, 5 dmen and 2 goalies count.

We keep 15 players (any position) plus two rookies.

Forwards: Panarin, Ovechkin, Kopitar, Stamkos, Tuch, Rust, Marchessault, Pavelski, Miller, Bertuzzi, Stone, Kakko, Brown, Stankoven, Kovalenko
Defence: Hedman, Fox, Matheson, Thrun, Jiricek
Goalies: Kochetkov, Talbot, Vasilevskiy, Campbell, Schmid

There is something to be said for the notion of "it ain't broke, don't fix it"
I'm really liking the way the team is playing as a unit right now, I dunno that I'd be in any hurry to rush him back

So as I was saying, I'd scratch Bourque. He hasn't very good against the Bruins, had no points in the last six games of that series, and two bad penalties in the first period of this series.

Galchenyuk has his road back to the lineup paved already. Gal-Eller-Gionta FTW!

It won't be an easy decision given what Bourque had accomplished vs Tampa but it's the logical one. Bourque could always come back later and regain some magic. Or he could get stuffed into a car trunk and the imposter could return in his jersey...

For Price it's like perfect timing to have a light schedule week. Only two games scheduled!

I actually missed the injury. Do you think Price is 100%?

I would say definitely not 100% but too soon to tell if he will play or not.

I know most fans here are deflated with the news of Price being out but I'll go back to what I said at the start of last series. It's an uphill battle but the games still have to be played.

Robert Mayer is being given an unconditional release to go back to Switzerland. He spent five years as a pro so he definitely gave it a fair chance. Never really panned out though - never once above .910 in any season in North America and never once had a winning record in the AHL.

I appreciate Price returning from injury so early but damn he lost a lot of size overnight. Wait that wasn't Price???
